My dearest friends,

I am so sorry for neglecting you. Life has been rather crazy! Since we last chatted a lot has happened!

Last year, around this time, I found out that I was expecting our little boy, Leopold! I am SO amazed by our little miracle! Everyday is an adventure! He is the bestestest thing that has ever happened to me!!! Can't believe that he'll be 5 months in August. Where has the time gone?

I have slowed down on the wedding photography front, but am still working at my smaller shoots (baby, family, function, and couple photography). At the moment we are all suffering from a nasty cold *sniff**sneeze*. Can't wait for summer!

Dear Friends,

Winter is wrapping her cold fingers around our hot summer days *sigh* My garden is slowly changing colour from green, to gold, to brown... I'm hoping the days will slow a little too so that I may catch my breath and surface again.

My studio has been an absolute success. I am actually at the point of employing an assistant. He is helping with some of the more banal, but equally important, tasks that I just don't seem to be getting to these days. I have recruited my gran and she is crocheting loads of gorgeous beanies for my little ones! Very exciting and cute!!! Will be receiving a variety of new props during the course of this week! All very good news!

On the family front, my brother has received a donor kidney, but the kidney isn't working too well at the moment... Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. I am hoping that his new kidney will start functioning and that he will be able to lead a relatively normal life. He so desperately wants to go to uni, get a job, meet a girl... You know, the stuff that we take for granted...

Anyways, just thought I'd keep you posted!

WOW! ! Can anyone tell me what happened to 2012? It seems to have come and gone in a flash! I can't believe that it is February 2013 already!!! I need a pause button...

Been really very busy of late getting my new studio up and running. I'm gradually moving away from wedding photography and concentrating my efforts on baby and family photography. Had my first cake smash today !!! What a SMASHING experience!

I have started art classes and am learning how to play the piano. Reading music has always been a bit of a problem for me and I am hoping that the piano lessons will help me learn the theory a lot faster. Hold thumbs that all goes well!
